10-year-old climbs El Cap!

10-year-old Selah Schneiter, from Glenwood Springs Colorado, is now the youngest person to climb El Capitan!  After 5 days on the rock and climbing 2,900 ft (884 m), Selah and her father reached the summit via the iconic Nose Route on June 12th, 2019.

Selah has been around climbing all her life. Her father Michael owns Glenwood Climbing Guides in Glenwood Springs, Colorado which has given her the perfect training ground for such awesome achievements.

Below Selah and her father Michael show off her incredible achievement. They show the true potential and power of daughter and father's love and trust. Selah is a true inspiration to young girls everywhere.
